twin turboing an IS is a HUGE waste of $$. just got a cheapo ebay turbo kit and get a real turbo, far more cost effective and far better power.

i totally agree, this is THE thing the MKIII world has been missing. but we are definitely the minority. timing is half of the gain you see when using a SAFC to "lean out" the mixture.... when considering designing a new product, you have to think about the majority- who will be buying this...

exactly. elected? who cares what the popular vote is- take a look @ the number of morons that make it into politics. expertise rarely has anything to do w/whom is elected. Interesting….the problem is the old timers are fed up with everyone else… Dead on. This is a supra site...

    maftpro is working

timing is monitored using the AFM input (you must be using the MAFT pro in speed/density mode). sure, you could just hook it up to check- you'll need pwr, gnd, RPM and the input. a standalone timing monitor would probably run $150-200 due to manufacturing /packaging costs.....we didn't deem...

Lets get a meet goin for the spring...

i'm all for a meet....if you plan it. i was involved w/the planning of the past MI supra meets and MAN what a hassle. too many whiney people re: dates, etc. don't forget the chi2k6 meet and the toronto supra meet, both good times....

    maftpro is working

a standalone timing monitor has been discussed but it is not feasible due to the frugality of the MKIII crowd.

    maftpro is working

WG is 9 psi, no idea what MAP was @ the time. don't forget the stock ECU is mapped for a CT compressor @ 12 psi, not any real compressor.....flow matters, not pressure.

well, i finally had a chance to spend some time with the timing monitor- it looks nearly ready to go. i'm going to check a few more things and then we'll call it done. the timing monitor will be included in the next software release (4.4). yup, software upgrades are FREE and easily done by...

    maftpro is working

not sure what this has to do w/the MAFT pro... not sure where the O2 thing came from....the MAFT pro doesn't interface w/the stock O2 sensor...leave the stock sensor hooked up as is. size is limited by your own discretion. personally, if you're trying to run larger than 720s, you need a...
