Alright I'm trying to slowly reassemble things.
Since lapping my block is very painful after about 5 minutes due to the wreck I was in about a week or so ago. my wrist cant take that for long so I've been doing a little bit of the small things.
Anywho I have the eagle rods as most of you...
Cant wait to see the finished product. To be honest after all these years man from I-supra, sf's, and sm along with a few other forums im sure this is the first time I've even seen ur car.
If you have any body work questions feel free to ask.
Keep it up man!
HG replacement + arp headbolts. looking @ 225.00. thats not alot of money to fix that nor its not alot of work. Once fixed just do regular keep up and it will be fine and reliable.
I just got a kick out of the money pit opinion. lol!
theres a few mk3's running 10's as well. we dont have to worry about cv's and transfer cases. those can be very costly and seeing as you own a dsm and i have too once you know where im comming from. Poor 3kgt guys know as well.
clevite bearings. If you are using stock pistons I'd stay with stock rings from toyota. 10-20RA is ideal. If they cant get it that smooth you gotta lap it urself. I have a picture of the lapping tool in my build thread. Make sure they get all the pitting out of the block as well or else u'll be...
just keep looking. give it sometime. You'll stumble across a better deal. Right now you think thats a pretty good deal, chances are after you buy those someone will have popped up with the same cheaper if not Alot cheaper.
