The gap like it is now, just move it down to the main body, rather then the header. If it blends in to the main body, no one will accidentally click it, there isn't anything there

I agree, especially because hosting this site has to be pretty pricey. I think they'd look better centered or shrunk a little with two seperate bricks up top. The site might look a little weird with side ads, though

Yeah, that's about normal. Doubt you could guess mileage. Make sure you/your mechanic torques the HG down right, since it's just a GE I don't see a reason to get a stronger gasket. 72 ft/lbs IIRC
