ground hooks to the body at the mtng screw, the antenna goes up the wheelwell to a cardboard pad and then makes a loop back to the pad. havent tested if it is switched or constant pwr. will do that later today.

im currently recovering my seats and inserts, and i found a mystery box in my drivers rear panel. it is wired into my harness and has a antenna like wire coming out of it taped to the wheelwell in a loop. it is wired witha pinch connector so i know toyota didn't put it there. the orange sticker...

as everybody else has said, pull it back apart now while it is easy. id put another seal in it as it sounds like you have torn it while installing it(easier to do than you'd think). at this time it is only time, and a few bucks for another seal.....later it could be a clutch

stupid ? how much have you driven it since changing the plugs? could it be that you got some oil in the cylinder when changing them? it can sometimes take a while to burn it all out.

we use wax to prototype our parts at the aircraft factory. form the pipes out of wax (candle wax) , them lay them up , precure them at room temp, then bake them to remove the wax.

what about a richmond 6spd, summit/jegs sells them new, and they are available in the yards reasonable as well , (camero/firebird) with a mech speedo as well. if you are gonna swap why not go for one more gear? will it fit?
