do you have abs? if not its the wrong tranny(send it to me and find the right one...lol) or get a freeze plug of that size and plug it. if you do have abs im pretty sure its the same sensor in your transmission.

just drain it, flush it with a solvent(ie gas or atf. i prefer atf as it isnt flamable) and refill it, any extra moisture will evaporate out the vent. i would go for a nice long drive to help evaporate it out. you will be fine, so will your tranny
