well, i know my 91 supra and my 91 celica gt have the same style airbag wheel, the only things that are different are the fact that the celica wheel is not leather covered, and the airbag says celica on the celica wheel.. so i would guess that the splines on the hub would be the same.
to dark out right now for picts, it is the front most section of the pan, between the front pulley and the crossmember, not the sump area. there isnt much clearance in that area anyway. i just dont know where the oilpump is in relation to the dent, it is shoved in about a inch at the worst...
i was jacking my car up to purge the cooling system after changing the headgasket, when my jack slipped off of the center crossmember and pushed the rack@pinion lines into the oilpan. it smashed the pan in to the point where it hits the crankshaft. so my question is where is the oilpump/ pickup...
well guys i finally found the leak. it is the front corner of the head at the block.
so it looks like the fun has come to a halt with the supra for a while.
any recommendations for a gasket, i plan to run no more than about 14 psi boost, currently im running stock boost levels
i will be...
i have cleaned the engine off daily trying to find this damn leak.. i will eventually find it. i have pressure tested it both cold and warm. with no pressure loss! it should loose pressure on my tester if it is actively leaking. it should leak on any pressure test. that is what is pissing me...
dye is worthless. especially on a leak like this where it is all over the engine when it is wet. it will deposit dye everywhere the coolant is. i have a dye kit. i have never sucessfully found a leak with it(that couldent be spotted without it). i have been a mechanic since 97 and have worked on...
exactly, i can drive mine all day,and only loose a puddles worth of coolant. getting really tired of smelling coolant. filling the damn bottle is getting old as well. hopefully whatever it is blows soon, because i cant trust my car right now.
im loosing about a gallon a week
lol, it sound a lot like me and the damn viper here in town, i get killed by him every chance i get....i know i cannot beat him, but it sure is fun getting killed.
no, i have removed it and inspected it. no leaks. it looks like it is coming from either the water pump or the t-stat housing. but i cant tell because when wet it is all over the front of the engine bay... and i cant get the damn thing to leak when im watching.
i have a coolant leak that i cannot find. :1zhelp:
i have been steadily loosing coolant. but the kicker is that the system will hold 14 psi all day long(had the tester on the car for 12 hrs and did not loose any pressure) i get a good sized puddle every time i park and no dripping at all...
well, i didnt really ditch it, so much as abandon it at a friends house, 10 years ago. still have the title for it....wonder if it is still there? anybody know the yenters in rifle colorado?
yes they are definatly different. trailer tires have a non agressive pattern that wont grab ruts in the road, they also have thicker sidewalls for both loadbearing charecteristics and tracking properties. get the right tire so you are not a hazard to us all.
lowes, home depot, and most...
you dont understand my family.... nobody does!
my brother had a cop friend call me and report his car found without him! im only playing fair by my families standards. we once convinced my sister a coconut was a monster egg, then threw a walkie under her bed and woke her up at 2 am with...
