with no cat, a 3" DDP and 3" cat back on a 57Trim i had boost creep much the same, worse on a stock ct26, only started when i removed my blocked cat. i guess its the price you pay for a free flowing exhaust. my new turbo has a larger waste gate and does not have the same issues.

oil can also enter the intake via the crankcase ventilation hose which could indicate excessive blow-by, this is the breather that goes to the top of the rocker covers to the throttle body & accordion hose (ironic as the 7m has no rockers) remove the accordian hose and inspect for an oil trail.

Thank you! ill check the steering shaft for play I'm pretty sure i do, there is a plug which goes into the wiring loom, if its disconnected the power steering does not work, to be honest i think id prefer normal p/s, forgot about that connector (ill be replacing the engine loom soon)

make sure your ignitor is bolted down tight, my car axel tramped and did the same thing because i forgot to torque the bolts on the ignitor (they were finger tight, it used for a ground)
