    IGNITER? NO FUEL?

Since the tach does not operate, you don't really need to look at the ignitor yet. That fires the coil from signals it gets from the ECU. The ECU gives those commands based on signals from the cam position sensor/engine speed sensor. You likely have lost the pick up somehow. Pick up refering...

What would you pay for perfectly clean/stock supra?

Twin cam, fuel injection for the loss? I know you 1JZ people are a little off, but this is serious. Economics 101 stipulates that the price is whatever you are willing to pay. I don't think there is an abundance of low mileage Supras out there in good condition. So you won't find one for as...

    Cold Start Injector woes

You can't get the injector out? Did you remove the hard fuel line? Toyota is probably the best place to take it. Or a shop started by somebody who spent many years there.

    MA70 MA71 difference

Somebody has a site where they state that the MA71 chasis's were not being produced fast enough by Toyota, so they had to use the MA70 chasis. I don't know if that person just made it up or what, because it isn't true. But people read the web site and are misinformed. I know, that is hard to...

Disconect the ignition coil plug and crank the engine over until you have pressure on the gauge. Then plug it back in to start.

    Coil-over packs

Coilover is also an ignition part also. Coilover plugs are very common now. Think of the V6 Camry, and the coil that sits right on the plug. Coilover just isn't a common term for ignition. Most just call it the coil. edit: Coil on plug is the term. It just came back.

    Who makes a good battery?

Your battery's needs depend on where you live. A battery for Buffalo, New York is compeletly different than one being shipped to Miami. As you may have read, there are lead and lead alloy plates inside an automotive battery. They sit in acid. Two dissimilar metals in acid causes a chemical...
