    No electricity!

Even K-Mart has them. Sort of. I usually see it as a big fuse now. The amperage is on top. You still have to bolt it in. That is probably your problem. As long as your alternator wire isn't also grounded on the case.

Where you live also affects what fuel you "need". A 7MGE in Denver, or other high cities, really doesn't need 91 or higher. You are flushing money down the toilet. You will never get enough cylinder pressure to warrant the fuel.

    The Definition of "Ricer"?

He is correct. How old are you? That is a real question too. More than 10 years ago, my friends called my Supra the rice rocket, because it is from Japan. The kids that don't know any better, slowly changed into an insult for other kids that do ugly things to their Japanese cars, and now any car...

The owners manual states premium for increased performance. Toyota uses a closed loop ignition circuit. That means the computer is responding to its own control. While not as advanced as a new 1MZ-FE, the ECU will advance timing if you don't have knock to retard it.

    yet another 'wont start' threads

If you are sure you do not have spark, then don't worry about fuel. EFI will not work without the spark anyway. Have you checked the actual voltage over time out put of the cam position sensor, and seen that it does put out. There are gaps you can check with a feeler gauge. There is no shame...

The greatest game show of all time

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070510/ap_en_tv/tv_bob_barker_2 Ole Bob Barker is hanging it up. His last taping is June 6, which all of you know is the anniversary of D-day. It will be sad to see him go. At least I can watch re-runs on GSN. :)

Yes, do an open circuit test in the fuse box. Then trace back to the burned out fusable link.

Don't waste any money buying parts until you know what is wrong. And don't let a lucky guess every now and then, fool you later down the road.

That is because it is a Chevy. I pulled a 95 Dodge Dakota V8 4x4 with my 7MGE W58 equiped 87 Supra a long way. No issues.

If you plan on pulling the car, remove the driveshaft. Or you won't have a transmission when you get there.
