At about 300rwhp stock, they can run high 12's on street tires. A Supra needs about 500rwhp it seems to run 12's.
No really, you need more power than he has. And a broader curve, which with our displacement you won't get. Removing about 700 lbs would help.
I bought a set of headers for a different car. They came that way, it wasn't something I did. There are other cars besides the Supra you know. ;)
But I remember a thread about having them coated, and the temp drops. It was pretty good.
I have had headers coated instead of wrapped. That worked too, so I don't know about your opinion there. I could touch the manifold while running. Not for very long of course.
IJ, Toyota said the 7MGE Supra with a 5 speed is only good for 131 mph when they did their testing. You are correct, it just doesn't have the balls to push to redline or fuel cut.

Actually, it was determined a long time ago. Since no human can pump a break pedal 10-15 times in one second, you are not as faster as the actuator. Quit thinking you are. As in anybody that thinks they can outperform it.
