I don't have the schematic in front of me, but since you have both airflow meter codes, I would think about a loose or bad connection. I say that because I am pretty sure it is common power.

The response is quicker from shorter intercooler pipes, not better. Unless you are running stock pipes. Then it is both.
The engine does not care if the manifold is facing one way or another, unless you have a really bad layout. The size of the plenum, and the length and size of the runners...
Denver's track is Bandimere speedway in the foothills of Morrison Colorado. It is pretty funny to watch something like a stock C5 run a mid 15 in this air.
Still shoveling it I see...you posted a one and a half horsepower difference-pathetic no gain- a year apart, with that change. Over a crushed bent exhaust, the worst kind.
A quality 3 inch exahust will shift the torque up in the RPM range. 200 rwhp is feasible without breaking the bank...
The automatic car needs a TPS signal. They are not the same. Unless the 5 speed harness has plugs, which is very possible.
Are you swapping a 5 speed for the A340E?
