The bypass valve recirculates into the intake. That won't hurt your power. Unless you have a leak, in which you will also have a stalling condition.
How down on power are you? 5psi is pretty close to stock.
Talk about the stalling a little more. If you let off the throttle rapidly, as in let it close on its own, that is when it stall? Or does it need some engine speed?
If you beat it with a bigger hammer, it will come out. And the end will be damaged in a way known as "mushroomed". If you can't get to a press, soak with penatrating oil, then again and again. A block of wood and a big hammer works nice also.
That is a secondary reason for buying it. GM still uses the 26 gallon tank for full size Blazers. And at 70 mph, it is a hair under 2000 RPM. So it has a tall highway axle. I was pushing 20 mpg on a recent road trip.
A couple of quick things. The injectors don't pulse with out a crank signal. So you don't really hear them.
There is two wires on the starter. A big one, that should be 12V. The little one should be 12V (B+) with the key in start position only. Have your buddy put it in the start postion when...
I have a question. In either Turbo magazine or Sport Compact Car(maybe a couple issues back), there was a 2JZGE, with a turbo added. The photo showed the Lex meter in place with the turbo kit installed.
Later it was explained the car had MAP ECU piggyback. I thought MAP ECU was a speed...
10 psi at part throttle isn't nearly the same as when you have the throttle plate open. The throttle body is limiting intake of air if it is not open.
You need to load the engine more. When you do, the frequency of the airflow meter will go up, and so does fuel delivery. Opening the TPS also...
Ok, understand. No electrical power.
Huh? You hit the clutch? Are trying to describe a rolling start? And it failed to start with a rolling start right? If you have no electrical power, the injectors won't fire, the coil won't fire, the car won't run.
If only 2nd gear grinds, only second gear is bad. 1st should be hard to downshit. You aren't really supposed to do it unless stopped.
The synchronizer known often as blocker rings has pointed teeth on top. Those hold it in gear. As you grind more and more, the pointed teeth can not hold it in...
