    Recheck those numbers. The torque was 700 from what I remember when I read it. And it also has much bigger, stickier tires.

    The owner is usually a big problem, you are right. I have. Keep it full, and eliminate leaks. The cavitation spot is back near number six. Or so I was told at Toyota about 10 years ago. The hotspot comes from a leak that didn't get fixed. Everybody remembers different sometimes.

    If the gasket is a fault point, then redoing it with more torque wouldn't matter. Toyota goes through many updates on parts on cars over the years. The current one sold is pretty strong, and not a weak point.

    If you plan on running 10's, you need a stand alone. Set your own rev limit.

    If those wires are touching, and touching ground, then yes. Don't count on it though. The ECU will report open or short.

    The only 10 second cars that run in the 140's are high horsepower cars with tall gearing, heavy, no stall converter, or too big of a turbo. If he runs a brake on the THM with 4.30s and has a broad powerband, he might hit mid 10s at 135. If he doesn't break anything.

    That car was pitifully slow. I think it was another JZ swap and still stock. Thankfull, both Mustang owners were unprepared and their cars broke.

    If Toyota wasn't smarter about injectors firing, yes. I don't know of any injector that is just "on" instead of pulsed.The injectors could be damaged if you apply battery voltate to one and ground it.

    I ran out an 87 7MGE on purpose back in 95. I put 18.1 in it. They are right, you won't get 18.5 in it. You might not get 18.1 in it.
