    Heater hose/waterfall sound

You have a coolant leak. The sound is air in the system. Fix the leak.

Put in tranny and no Reverse

I can't comment on the valve body mods, as I didn't see you do it. The only ones you should do is shimming the two accumalators on the first page. Don't lock the cable either. If the range selector is not right, you will have problems just like you are describing. How does it drive in D, 2, 1...

How to find out if a sensor is bad?

Your Tacoma does not use a Karman Vortex air flow meter like the Supra does. Spraying cleaner in there is bad for the mirror and LED.

How difficult is it to put TEMS in a non-TEMS car?

You can't find a car with TEMS? I seem to have the opposite problem, and I don't limit my miles on Autotrader.

how do you know if igniter is bad?

Not that it matters now, but the best way to check the pickup is with a DSO, aka a scope. Fluke sells them hand held size, and has done so for quite a few years now. That is, if you want to start checking its output like that. Did you look for an intake leak yet? What about a 34. Fuel cut...

    Diagnostic Connector

If you have a spare harness from something, which I realize most of you wont, just get out the dikes and cut a piece with the male end that is the same guage. You can pull the wires out without breaking the connector.

    torque converter question

I think it would work. They won't have the same stall built into them, due to the large torque difference. You won't get as much multiplication if they are different inside.

    2nd gear grinding

You shift to fast? So in other words, you try to jam in into gear before the speeds are matched up because the clutch was not disengaged(pedal in).

    Auxillary electric fan

Of course it helps. Or Toyota would not have put it on the car. I just unplugged the high pressure A/C switch, built a simple plug, and ran the wire to the inside of my car. I put a black toggle switch where the TEMS would go. This car didn't have TEMS.

Need more help with electrical system

Sounds to me like a sulfated battery. When you discharge a battery, the lead and lead sponge trade parts. The sulfuric acid is a medium. You get PBSO4, or lead sulfate as a result. The byproduct is electricity, so that is ok. When a battery goes bad, that lead sulfate can harden, making the...

Coolant leaking from back of block/head

Can't see it from here... The union from the head to the heater hose is back there, so is the EGR cooler.

How to tow a Supra with Dakota...

You have nothing to do with the dodge comment.

How to tow a Supra with Dakota...

That is because Dodge sucks. I can show you all a video to prove it. I pulled a 95 5.2 V8 Dakota from Federal and Alameda to Hill Top past Parker into Elizabeth with my 7MGE W58 Supra. And you should know exactly where I am talking about.

    Most bullet proof rods

Aioi Works in the Wartsila Sulzer RTA96 application. I was going to say caterpillar, but then I thought about some of the diesel locomotives that are a 1000 cubes per cylinder. Then I remembered some even bigger so hit google for you.

    Dropped an injector... now what?

Now is a good time to test it. Procedures are in the manual.

    EGR System

The online manual has the parts with it. It will be under vacuum I think.

how do you know if igniter is bad?

Your wideband is saying you are rich? A gas analyizer will tell you the actual content of the engine gasses. Rich is easy to light. You don't really get a rich misfire, well you can, but it isn't easy. Especially in boost. Lean is hard to light. You should think about an air intake leak.

    No Spark for my 7M-GE

If your check engine light doesn't come on, and you have no spark, I would think a little harder about a bulb being burned out or not.

how do you know if igniter is bad?

Since you are on you are running AEM, you are sort of on your own. The engine still has needs to be met, but you have to select the parameters now. Can you even pull codes on this system? Chevyeater used it. I am sure others did also. Maybe one of them will aid you. The spark needs to happen...
