Since Toyota says the GTE has a higher lobe lift, got any info on duration at .050"? Since this cam doesn't have a roller follower or tappet, it can't be much steeper.

If your car runs as designed by Toyota, it will run as designed after the Lex meter and RC injectors. If you have problems now, you will have problems after.

How would a controlled leak keep up pressure? It lowers pressure. Just like opening any valve would.
The stock pump doesn't deliver any "psi". PSI is restriction, set by the pressure regulator by blocking the return.
Why is the real question. Maybe you want a Diesel with hydraulic assisted injectors? Around 1000 psi or so?
