You are the one that said "it costs too much". That is a political statement. And an uneducated one at that. Whatever you do, don't be objective about anything. Especially not a car.
*rolls eyes*
By the way, there was "domestic rice" long before the current crop. It just wasn't called that.
Ever see something like an early Olds Omega with the stock 305 2 bbl carburetor and less than 200 bhp and traction bars?
Can you check actual fuel pressure when it won't start? You need a pressure gauge and adapters to fit the rail. There isn't a schrader valve. :nono:

Keep in mind, an old fuel pump may also struggle to prevent vapor lock. Even...
1989 is a good year to avoid. Too many running changes for my taste.
The revised suspsension helps the braking also. Along with better tires, new hoses and proper alignment.
So the tire maker is smarter than Honda engineers. How interesting. Read my post about pressure, alignment, suspensino, etc. 44 is max for that tire load. It isn't your ideal pressure for contact patch. You will wear in the center before the edges.
Or do what you want. It is your money.
Like many derogatory terms, rice didn't start out as derogatory. Only recognition that it comes from the orient.
Friends called it the "rice rocket", a decade and a half ago. As opposed to a crotch rocket, but along the same lines. It morphed thanks to Hon-duh boy.
Only in certain markets. Such as ours. The base tire listed is 205/55/16.
Tires.
The number on the sidewall is max load a tire can carry at the max pressure it can withstand. That is not the amount of air to put in the tire.
The car is aligned with the assumption of correct inflation...
That is all true, but needs qualifiers. Ever here of a hemi head? That is short for hemispherical combustion chambered head. Our pentroof is a descendant of that. The group A head is molded after it.
I think his reworked head looks kind of like a 2JZ head in the combustion chamber. Nice work.
And if you had a bad coil pack, what makes you think you have pre-ignition? Do you really know what spark knock, detonation, and preignition are? They are not one in the same, but are related.
No. No DTC condems a part. A DTC is an idicator that a circuit is outside of its working parameters(expected voltage)
Yours is the knock sensor circuit. A dead knock sensor can set the code. So can 20 year old wiring. It means the engine control unit is not getting a knock signal.
It doesn't look exactly like it, but they are similar. I used to have people question my 88 Black sport roof car about it. Back then, most didn't know what a Supra was. (1996)
I want to point out that the car will run perfect with functional 550's and Lex housing. If you need to scale the airflow meter on the car to run right, there is a problem. Not counting a bigger turbo of course.
