That test was pointless beacause the suspension is not compressed. Which also indicates it problably is steering/suspension and not brakes. Although the sound of light rubbing metal does sound like it could be pads. They can make noise without applying the brakes. I can't tell from here.

Electronics control the solenoids. If it drives normal unplugged, it has to be control, and not just stuck solenoid from varnish or something. This excludes him leaving information out of his post that he isn't telling us. Not that he is doing that, but it happens.
