    Excluding things specific to your car, that sounds like a car that needs to have the cob webs blown out. Maybe you have weak fuel volume at low speed.

    In the StL, the inspector sees that the MIL is not on, and then plugs in to see that readiness was not reset. It is a state controlled system. OBDII only of course. OBDI is safety check only.

    Timing is likely irrelevant if not mentioned. My Supra in Denver that ran good only had 16" of vacuum and passed easily. I find it hard to believe it is anything other than the tune on the MAP ECU. Unless you have an injector with a mechanical fault, and that isn't likely. I have sigs shut...

    2nd gear synchro is worn and is having trouble matching speed. 1-2 is the biggest change, and the hardest to sink up.

    Oil Flow vs Pressure

    drjoez took apart the two oil pumps and the GTE pump is bigger and moves more oil. But the GTE has squirters and a cooler, so that is a controlled leak.It has more volume, but less pressure. I don't like the statement either, and don't use it.

    I would get it in the more powerful 6.8 SPCII. You will see the caliber listed as 6.8 SPC. That is what Remington took to SAAMI.
