    compound turbo set up

A compound turbo set up would be one blower pushing into the other blower. Also, this is where the term "intercooler" is incorrectly used in automotive for convinence of not calling it what it is, a charge air cooler. The intercooler went between the two turbos. The 2JZGTE uses what Toyota...

    Stock Amp?

Yes. I don't know the year, maybe 1991 and 1992 only. My 1991 doesn't have it. I thought about searching ebay for it. It goes under the passenger seat if you have one. It came with the then called 3 in 1 radio/tape/CD. At least I believe that is where they were installed.

Is it normal to burn a bit of oil?

It is normal to burn oil. Rods have holes in them from the crankshaft to spray oil on the cylinder wall. The cross hatch suspends oil that the rings don't pull back to the pan. That oil burns up with combustion. When you don't see a drop on your dipstick, it is from the contamination filling the...

    1989 7M-GTE 350 WHP+ Daily Driver

One of the main difference between the HKS alphabet and MAFT-Pro is $$$. Used is a different story, but I don't know if I would want 20 year old used expensive electronics. New would be over $2500 for the VPC/PFC-Fcon and a GCC.

    Catback exhaust

If you can find a new HKS sport exhaust with its baffled muffler (instead of straight through like the turbo muffler) and 60mm pipes would be a nice piece.

7mGTE GT4088 swap, runs, but weird issue? TONs of info, and I've searched.

A small intake leak that doesn't cause an idle problem will cause a slow spool.

No power and Starter won't crank

Put your multimeter on the alternator stud when you have it jumped and running. Make sure the car jumping is shut off for the test.

headlights stay on in every switch position

After you see where the power is coming from, you might see what Poodles is saying. The integration relay is being goofy. That is assuming you aren't feeding it lies. (wiring)

    Carrier bearing or 1-piece driveshaft?

Eh, you would like the Yukon. My fill up this week dropped $7 with the 30 cent drop in prices. It only ran me $79.00.

My E85 Project, Cracking 300WHP on a stock turbo

For what it's worth ole buddy, that is above normal by a good amount. Your engine was/is healthy. If you go back to the TRD Supra which was before the HKS and Garrett bolt ons, they claimed 330 bhp. And with an A340E and 13 psi the car trapped 97. I trapped 98 with my Lex meter in place of the...

    Carrier bearing or 1-piece driveshaft?

Hence the strict NHRA rulebook. I have a helmet and flame jacket, and I am not even a serious racer. But they have rules for a reason. ---------- Post added at 12:30 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:28 AM ---------- Speaking of Ford, now that the Mustang is larger in size and...

    compound turbo set up

It was done because GM thought a two stroke diesel was a good idea. Well, that isn't actually on their shoulders. It was Detroit Diesel. The blower was added because a two stroke needs revs to work, and a diesel burns oil and can't rev. Dumb idea. So the blower was added to fill the cylinders...
