Your vacuum is low, 5600 feet or not. That indicates a worn engine, assumign it is also low and you are correct about 10 with TE1 and E1 connected. I wonder how you determine the air flow meter works correctly. It has a spring loaded door with a potentiometer that tells the PCM how far the door...
Kind of narrows it down don't you think? The trans does not have a governor valve or throttle valve. It has a speed sensor and TPS to calculate shifting.
So. Here is a quote for you.
See how that works. I can do it too. Them saying it doesn't make it so. Or me saying it or anybody else. EGR operates in a limited rpm range, it doesn't just flow all the time.
All that will do is dilute your oil and pollute the air. Who said that anyway? Start the car. Wait 10 seconds, then drive normal. Avoid jack rabbit starts until the car is at operating temperature. You will never guess where that answer comes from Besides the laws of physics....
My comment has nothing to do with bumping an old thread for info. Often, that is fine and brings back subjects that people can read and learn. Scratch the last part. It is hard for me to comprehend somebody asking how to remove the device used to control idle speed.
Free flowing exhaust does not stay hot. Unless you some how wrap it or coat it. And that will still only do so much. The manifold needs to be just the right length for maximum acceleration of the exhaust gas. And I wonder how many actually figured out what it is for each engine and turbo...
Pull a plug wire, put in an old plug that isn't fouled, and ground it. If it sparks, you have a break in the IGf wire. I would think more along the lines of a bad pick up signal.
14 means the PCM did not get spark confirmation. So injection is halted. 14 could be a break in wiring from the ignitor to the PCM blocking spark confirmation (IGf) or you never got spark, so there was no signal.
The random starts are from the bad wiring giving you an intermittent open. Putting your foot on the floor has no effect on its starting. Unless you pour a bunch of gas down the intake. Because when you put your foot on the pedal like that while cranking, stops injection.
