How is it in manual 1? The first/reverse brake holds the carrier. That gives you reverse in any automatic transmission. It seems like yours has taken a dump if raising main line pressure to get it to move is the only way it can move.
What is funny is the same debates took place 10 years ago, just not in this forum. Back then those that didn't know any better said EGR caused BHG by increasing heat in the back of the head and introducing more heat and detonation with the exhaust.
This is somewhat true, but grossly incomplete. You can not hurt the enviorment. It will always recover. But it will hurt those in it. Especially when everybody takes the attittude you have taken. I don't know how old you are, but the US was trashed in the 70's. It can happen.
It is a part of the airflow meter housing. As shown in the link provided in the post above. THA is thermal air.

Take a good look at your common denominator.

Did you not read the post above yours with the link to EGR operation? I have seen wires twisted together and wrapped in electrical tape too. That doesn't make it right.
If the CPS or igniter is not working right, then there will be no injection. If you have injection, the engine is out of time. That includes the CPS position.
Well, no. What would exhaust do that can not get into the combustion chamber because it is circulating in an enclosed space? Toyota, as do all manufacturers, run a different tune when when EGR flow is commanded. Whether you realize it or not, tune effects EGT. Especially adding timing.
