My optima red top seems to fit under the targa the last time I checked it. Another option is to buy two 6-volt optima motorcycle batteries and wire them in series for an ultra-flat 12V battery.
Do people want the bubble markers just because it's JDM? I vote for the clean stock look of the flat side markers, for the simple reason that they look better, IMHO.
I've got an extra set of side markers. I once tried to pry the lens off the backing and it has some insane glue on there and would have surely broken apart before splitting. Perhaps if we could donate a couple of pairs of these to you, you could carefully cut out the part you need from each...
There are a few cars out there with similar looking side markers. Anyone successfully do a custom install with clear side markers? The BMW ones on eBay look like they might be useable but none of the vendors know the measurements...?
I've got a drain plug installed on my gas tank. There was quite a bit of stuff floating around in the gas the last time I drained it to put race gas in.
Yes, please do the front (and possibly rear) side markers in clear! I'll buy a set immediately since I'm about to do something custom since these are not available.
I think a newer model NSX with a built turbo motor and some typical classy body/wheel upgrades would be a REAL hot ride. Ideally 350-500 RWHP. On a mid-engine all-aluminun chassis? Would kill a Mk3 in almost every category.
It would be complicated to get back in unless you had a windows-down module on your alarm as well. It might be easier to just use the adjustment screw to reach the max height of your parking garage and live with it at that setting. I'll be doing this install probably in November or December...
This particular kit is ajustable all the way up to 90 degrees, so if I want I can have the doors open 100% vertical, which should make it easy to get in and out of the car. This kit works by opening up the door a little bit sideways like normal, then it swings up so the factory latch and...
They are still somewhat rare here in Vancouver. I have not seen any lambo doors on any car yet, even hondas. I agree they look silly on a honda with short dinky doors, but I think they look hot on the Mk3's long-doors:
I know many of you don't like lambo doors so please don't bother posting hater responses. For those of you that do appreciate the exotic style looks and the real-world function of 4 foot long doors that are easy to use in tight spaces, enjoy:
The CD is to give you an idea of just how big...
Although I haven't driven it in the rain yet, I think it'll be fine as long as I'm not driving through 12 inch deep puddles. The air filter has a rain drip sheild (as seen in above pic), and the vent blows beside the filter so most droplets would have a tough time getting into the intake.
Gotta love functional home depot projects. Reminds me of the laundry vent under-car ram-air scoop I built this year. Also reminds me of the wood/bondo rear spoiler I made for my 73 corrolla when I was 16!!!
I've seen stock holes. The end ones are square and the plastic bit goes in first and the screw screws in and expands the plastic like a plastic wall anchor does.
I've been looking into the cryO2 stuff. Before the CO2 comes out of the sprayer you can plumb in a fuel bar that chills down to -80 plus an intake tube with a bulb that chills the air. These things together supposedly drop intake temps up to 50%! What kind of HP do you guys figure that would...
On the DEI CryO2 system, they have a great intercooler sprayer that I'll probably add on in the future. I was wondering about your guys' opinions about the other goodies that can be daisy-chained before the CO2 reaches the sprayer: the fuel bar and the intake cooler. The fuel bar is supposed to...
I've got a low mile JDM motor that has perfect compression and uses NO oil. I would not risk hurting yours by cutting corners too soon. Just for interest, my engine is stock with upgraded MHG, turbo (57 trim) Lex afm and 550's with walbro pump(SAFC also). I boost to 15-17 psi daily and it is...
