I applied it over thoroughly wire brushed surface body rust spots; I thought it was a rust converting primer, like the Rust Destroyer product I had such great success with before.
I used POR-15 to stop rust and it SUCKS. Rust came back within months. In the past I used a product bought locally called "Rust Destroyer" and the rust never came back on my Mk2. I recently had to order it online since it is no longer sold near me.
Must be new, and it looks ok. Although it's outrageous how these websites try to sell bodykits with such useless photos. These are the photos for an "87 Supra" directly from www.sarona.com
Edit: looks like they have a 87 kit and a different 89+ kit
I am happy, but not 100%. Pioneer just annouced the 2008 lineup, and the only deck that has USB control and the famed top-quality Burr-Brown D/A converter is a double-din unit, due out in March. My quest to fuse maximum audiophile fidelity with huge USB storage convenience may now be...
+1 LOL at the dude's face in pic#2. I think that's a targa car, judging by the window trim. Doesn't look like the chassis is flexing a whole lot considering the immense torque in photo #1. Looks like OEM glass all around too!
I opted to save weight and work and use the sheet metal of the tire well as the main part of the enclosure. I anchored the center with a bolt/rod to the top board, and dynamatted the metal, and it is really quite solid. Although with huge subs and power, your box is the better way to go.
