    Also, rubber hoses tend to squish down more with age, the stock style clamps will tighten when needed.

    worm gear + silicone hoses = bad I run stock clamps.

    Sounds to me that piston slap = full engine rebuild = $$$ for mechanic

    The main reason I don't like the idea is that if you have to remove the hose it has to be cut (hard to do without damaging the hose) and they're in no way reusable...

    Unless the stock rotors are too thin (doubt it), get em cut and if needed rebuild the calipers... If they're rusty (they're cast iron, they WILL rust), you can paint em...
