    That's why I said swpa to the old plugs ;) Iridiums aren't supposed to be gapped (manufacterer says this as you risk damaging the center electrode) but they really need to be gapped...

    I'm betting that your downpipe is NOT 3" at the flange where it mounts to the elbow since 99% of the downpipes are knock-offs of the HKS one (that and it wouldn't seal with the stock gasket)

    They're adjustable. The non-adjustable ones came on certain MKIII's in Japan (believe it was the TT-R)

    Technicly from a performance aspect, most race cars don't run them... On a road car, you'd a moron for not running one, or you have a tree that grows turbos...

    Most people just get a downpipe with that part in it. Most of the downpipes that don't replace the elbow neck down at the elbow flange so they're not truely 3"
