LOL, reliablity and durability wise, Geo/Suzuki is good. The main issue I had with the one we just sold was the headlights. They come back to one small ground pin on the fuse block and it gets torched from the shitty wiring and GM adding DRL's so they're ALWAYS on.

It's because the joint doesn't move in only one axis. The nylon doesn't give, so the arm has to causing failure.
In certain places they would be fine, but as a general rule not safe IMHO...
The unobtanium bushing are nylon and after reading about suspension arm failure running them I wouldn't go near em. You can search for the info on the forums about them.

There are alternatives to hot tanking as well. Do research on engine building before you get into this as it's obvious you don't have a clue and a machine shop can easily take you for a ride because of it.
