I think we all said $1000 is the minimum you should get back. Given you are going to have to sink at least that into it to get a car in drivable condition, I'd say you should get more. Not disclosing that scratch is also deplorable.. what is it with people that makes them think the internet...

holy crap, that is bad, you got taken for a ride. I was thinking you paid like $1000-1500 MAX! $2800 is TOO MUCH. You should try and do what you can through ebay and paypal and for sure send him a letter saying you are going to take him to small claims court over this if he doesn't make good...

That sucks, sorry about that. I wouldn't have given him dick and then fought it out with paypal to get the deposit back. That is why I ALWAYS select credit card payment thru paypal, they try and discourage it for many reason, one being they don't want you to be able to dispute the charge back...

I'm in if it is confirmed real deal threaded, not plastic one size fits all b.s. and its decently cheaper than I can get from watson at Champion since I don't pay for shipping. (and are we all certain the the real deal TRD ones of late aren't the plastic crap?)
