I thought a T66 had a 66mm compressor wheel. So I figured a 67mm turbo was a tad bit bigger? :dunno: I thougth that the new thing for turbos was to label them with the size of their compressor wheel measurement. Am I wrong about that?
Ok, I took my lazy ass out there and I was able to pop it loose and pull it through. It took me a while cause I also had to get that oil filter housing off too. I have to go to the store and buy a 24mm socket cause I didn't have one. Now it's ready to go to the machine shop. Thanks again.
That was my exact next idea. I just wanted to check with you guys before I did it to avoid any possible problems. So does it have any kind of gasket or washer in there to replace? I guess I can look when I take it out. Thanks guys.
How in the heck am I supposed to remove it? It's a 7mgte block from my '91 Supra. I don't see any nuts/bolts holding it down. I tried tapping on it with a hammer, but I was too afraid of damaging it so I did't continue. I'll see if my pics come up.

The prices for the machine work isn't all that bad. But what did you do to have the guy line hone your mains? Resizing rods? Did you run the engine bone dry of oil? And this quote is to machine and reassemble your shortblock? That wouldn't be too bad if it was to do the shortblock.
Would I have a clearance issue with the SSAC manifold if I put an "on center" turbo on it? Will I need an adapter to clear the shock tower?
Another question while I have your attention. Is there a general rule of thumb when choosing a wastegate? I've seen 35-60mm WG's. Is there a such...
