If that's your turbo in your avatar then your compressor wheel looks much bigger than mine. I was told you can push this turbo up to 30psi before it's our of its efficiency range. I was planning of running around 25psi.

Yeah, like he said. Have someone sit in your car and hold the RPM's at 2500. That's the point where you hear the knock right? One by one unplug a spark plug wire. Check if the noise went away. Plug it back in and check another wire. Do that until the knock goes away. If it does go away...
