Yeah yeah, I know that's the Marines but you get the point. Good luck & have fun. I'm more than sure you'll have a bright future in that field if and when you decide to get out. Make us proud, and thank you very much for serving our country. I really mean that.
I dropped BofA about 7 years ago. All of the cars I financed I went through other banks and Credit Unions. BofA Always had the highest interest for any loan I wanted. They would want to compete to keep my business. The last straw was my Home Loan. Again, they didn't want to compete with the...
Sure you can preload with a 1jz... they don't have enough torque to break loose from the ebrake! :sarcasm:
Now that's something I have to try sometime.
And this is how they made me feel 95% of the time I visited their store.
There was this one employee at CC one time that impressed me. We bought a washer and dryer from him. When we went back to visit him for a new vacuum cleaner, he was gone. So I guess I did have ONE good experience at...
Sside: CC lost a good employee when you left. The many times I went there I didn't run into anybody like you. You're right about BB though... I don't get service there 100% of the time. That's because they're all running around helping 3-5 customers at one time. They just have so many...
Not hating, just stating the truth. I'm no expert by any means. I'm purely amateurish myself, but I wouldn't do my customers like that. That kind of job would come back to haunt me. I know exactly what it takes to produce a professional paint job and it's alot of work. From prep, to cut and...
What kind of paint was used? Doesn't look like the primer was guide coated & blocked, or wet sanded. Should have took the extra time/payed the guy to remove the moldings, and at least take off the easy stuff that's bolted on the car. Tape lines are a good starting point for peeling. I'm...
Horrible customer service is why they went under if you ask me. I'm glad they did too. I called it about seven years ago that they would fall on their face. They biggest problem was that they hired commissioned sales reps to work for them. Now I know in the past couple of years they...
a sess: At least have that one injector tested minimum. If you're going to use all of those injectors again, then you need to have them all tested. I'm sure there's some place in your hometown that tests and flows injectors.
MAP ECU 1 cannot manipulate timing. You just set your base...
I think if you take that piece off your LS6 will twist you front end within time. Maybe alot sooner than you think. Like other have said, just replace it with something lighter.
BTW a sess, what injectors were you running? Have you taken that one injector and have it tested yet? I would just so I can narrow it down as to what happend.
The MAP ECU does not get rid of the 7M ECU. You can not control timing with the MAP ECU 1 (first version). How can the MAP ECU seek and destroy #1 cylinder.
Generally, I've heard that #1 cylinder usually is the first to go in a "too much timing" meltdown. That's why back in the day...
Just trace that headgasket onto that cardboard underneath it and use it for your next HG. Or if you want you can buy my Evergreen HG. It's another cheapie composite HG.
