You're supposed to call the CDC, or a doctor and they'll come make a house call. If someone might be infected the last thing they want them doing is sitting in a waiting room with other patients to possibly infect them. I hope she ok though. How old is she?
Yeah, but isn't the 1j rated at 280hp/268lbft from the factory? And I'm sure this wasn't his first time on the track like our buddy queenskid here. BTW queenskid, you did say you were going to get some practice before the big day. That should have been last week. Did you go to the...
Do you know anybody that does bodywork in your area? It doesn't look like much to fix. Make the school pay for the damage, and put you in a rental. After all, it is their fault.
Looks pretty rough. It's going to take some time to make her look pretty. I hope she runs like a clock. I still would have kept the Civic hatch for a daily driver. It sure looks like you'll have some down time fixing that MKIII up. Good luck, and happy wrenching.
Whenever I've been out of a job temporarily I've always hit up on Temp Services/ Day Labor place that gets you jobs. Most of it was crap work, and the pay was shitty... but it was work to hold me over. I've once worked at a construction site that all I did was scoop up gravel off the street...
No, I haven't been to any meets in over 7 years. My car has been down that long. I haven't had time or money to get this car going. It's a long story. I really don't know why I'm hanging on to this car. Anyhow, nice to see another local Supra owner here on this site. Ever visit...
Not my style either. I've never been a fan of that much negative camber. I'm sure it helps in drifting, but you get little contact on the pavement. I'm interested in seeing it in action though.
I highly suggest you find your local dragstrip, and get to practicing launching & rowing through those gears. http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=dragstrip+in+New+York+city&fb=1&split=1&gl=us&view=text&ei=trrJSdyoIpvItgfs7KihAw&sa=X&oi=local_group&resnum=4&ct=more-results&cd=1...
Even driving the piss out of it, I can't see you running any faster than 13.80's. You'll get your $50, but not he $150. I do hope you prove me wrong though. When are you going to the track?? Please post the results. Good luck, and I do hope you win big.
On a side note, if he had a T67...
turbochargers.com out of Houston, Tx. Should be close to you. You can have them balance the wheel, and machine the housing for it to fit. Is it a 67mm inducer? If so, that is pretty big.
Thanks for that tip IJ. I'll keep that in mind when I buy one. Will it have "made in Germany" marked on it somewhere? Or specified before buying one online?
If there's ever a question of incompatablity on what's currently on the car and what you're going to spray use water borne primer. They do have water borne self etching primer as well for any bare metal you have already exposed. You can not wet sand this primer. Just do you final block...
LMAO, and that's why I try to pack the shit out of stuff i ship. I think I need to try the "drop from the shoulder" test before I send it out to be on the safe side.
With baffle and all? I guess I can find somebody here in town to do that. I have meager welding skills myself. But do I have to go through all of that trouble? I'll leave that as my last resort if I can't find another route. Thank you though for your input.
I'm in the market of buying a Bosch external 044 pump. I see that it's recommended to run these inline between your intank pump, and fuel rail.
What if the stock pump dies? Will your flow rate to the fuel rail lower? If you have your car tuned to a certain flow rate and suddenly it drops...
