Flex joint is overrated. Stock DP from the factory didn't have one. Engine doesn't twist that much to "break" the exhaust. And if it does then you need to look at some motor mount replacements. Besides, you have rubber hangers throughout the exhaust that compensates for the engine movement...

Before you start tearing down anything, check your crank pulley bolt. Make sure it's tight. A loose one will wobble and hit the crank in such a frequency that it'll sound like that.

Maybe it was equipment failure. The tip is about a 1/4" wide with a 7/16" draw hose and tube. Exactly how much media should be coming out of that gun? Are you supposed to be able to see a steady stream of it coming out?? His gun kept getting jambed up with the GB, so I had to cover the tip...

Pull your intercooler hose, the one from the turbo to the intercooler. Pull it at the intercooler side and put a drain pan their just in case. Check to see if anything comes out.
