Wow, that's pretty impressive. Did you happen to have the whole car re-cleared when the body kit was installed? It's just looks really shiney.
Those pics make me want to paint my car that color.
Oh maybe have a cruise night every weekend up and down his street. Blasting the music loud as hell, revving the engines up and down his street right in front of his house. As long as you guys aren't doing any moving violations there shouldn't be a problem with the police. Just remember when...
If you're young enough, don't give a shit, and have nothing to lose find out where your Mayor lives. Get a bunch of guys with the same qualities as above and street race all night in his neighborhood. Just be prepared to get arrested, car impounded, and pay hefty penatly fees though...
Absolutely beautiful. More on the paint job please. What paint system was used? Did you guys colorsand it, and to what grit? Brands of polishing products? Thanks.
Oh, and what color is the engine bay?
I get off at 2:05pm on Sundays. Even if I were to go straight from work I'd get there no sooner than 3pm. I really don't want to just catch the tail end of it. That's when they'll have the eliminations. Test and tune will be over and I won't be able to watch you guys run.
EDIT: There's...
Yeah yeah, we'll see when I get my car up and running.
David, you've been called out son. Whatcha gonna do? Should we make this a field day at www.sanantonioraceway.com one day? That's would be fun. I just wish I had my car running.
How much ya asking for the 1jz? My lawn mower engine is on its last leg and I need a good replacement! OOOOOoooohh!!11!!1! :aigo:
I kid, I kid. I'm talking trash and I don't even have my car running. :nono:
Yeah, it would be fun to see you and David line them up and go at it. I'll join...
1991 I was a juinor in highschool (17). Had my own efficiency apartment. Working at a pizza joint, taking the city bus to and from work & school. My older cousin had an '87 n/a MKIII at the time. I thought that was the shit and wanted one myself. Four years later (1995) I bought my 1991...
I was running 14.20's 2.1 sixty on street tires. Borrowed my friends MT ET Streets back then and cut it down to 1.8 sixty 13.80's e.t.'s. I know I was under 300rwhp then. They do help. You don't have to have a 10second car to benefit from ET Streets.
Why spend money on something you DON'T...
He's talking about racing at the drag strip not highway racing. Have you ever took a trip down the 1320? It's alot of fun... and legal. You should try it. Warning - it can become addicting.
I would run the 440's until you do max them out. The great John Lunsford was making 435rwhp with a 60trim CT26 and was running 440's. http://7mpower.com/john_lunsford.shtml
I doubt you'll hit over 400rwhp with a 57trim... and yes that is a challenge. :icon_razz
Upgraded fuel pump will not...
I know. I suggested not getting the bigger injectors in favor for the stickies. He can still use the MAFT PRO to tune out the fuel cut with the 440's. Can't he?
I'd skip on the 550's and go for a set of these.
Judging by the short times you need them. Besides I think 440's are good for a 57trim upgrade. Spend the money on trying to get the power to the ground.
BTW guys, I'm looking for some exhaust manifold studs. If you have some laying around on an old head that you don't need I can use them. Even if you just have one that will help. Thanks.
Uh... you best get that done before something bad happens. Just replace them all. http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/search.oap?keyword=fuel+injector+orings&year=1991&make=Toyota&model=Supra&vi=1278547
I'm off Thursday and Friday. I can make my way up there and pick up the stuff. I'll probably make a family trip out of it. Is there any really good BBQ places to eat up there? Thanks again.
