True...the battery wire is Blue in my TEWD. I thought he was talking about the wire to the solenoid.
So, yes there are 2 wires...the Blue battery wire is pretty thick too.
According to my '89 TEWD, its a Black w/ Blue stripe wire...and, it's the only one to the solenoid. Like figgie said, the starter grounds on the block where it bolts up.
Learn how to read the TEWD and you'll save yourself some time ;)

If you ever take a look down the threaded hole where the banjo fitting attaches to the back of the head, you will get an idea of how big the coolant jacket is behind the EGR cooler...it's big and runs the length of the cooler. If you are getting a hot spot here, you've got a lot bigger problems...
Yeah well...my car doesn't just look good ;)
Like I said, clear markers don't look that good on darker paint IMO. Different story on a white car...especially a pearl. I'm using red LED bulbs in the rear housings...looks really good at night IMO. The front markers are going to be modified...
The pointers on the cam gears should be pointing at the notches on the rear cover. This is with the cam index pins in the center hole on the gears. The crank dampner also has to be pointing at "zero" on the lower cover.
^^^ :slap:
I have thought about it...there's a coolant jacket under the EGR cooler on the head side. You know, the one with the big banjo fitting for the cabin heat line. The EGR cooler has nothing to do with causing a BHG at the #6 cylinder...another "7M Myth". Time for you to do some...
There are times that are appropriate to increase the viscosity. Running a car on the track with consistent high oil temps is one of them...excessive temps would be in the 230-250 deg F range. A high mileage engine with worn bearings is another. The "Golden Rule" for oil pressure is 10 psi per...
Stock HG compressed is 1.37mm...taking the rod shortening into account, you need .43mm additional thickness to maintain stock CR.
You did the math a bit wrong ;)
LOL...not to worry...I get the same sort of brain farts ;)
Now that you mention it though, the PCV to a catch can is another one that is consistently routed in Cletus manner...almost as if they're trying to blow their seals. Never understood it...it's not exactly a rocket science system.
Identical...same vendor...fit perfect.
One thing to consider...my car is a pearl white. They go well with the overall paint scheme. They don't look so good with other paint jobs, especially the darker colors IMO.
<Sigh> :3d_frown:
Removing the EGR and running a stock ECU is not a good idea...been beat to death. Please don't ask why (really tired of this one), search EGR* for my or JetJock's posts.
If you do remove it (and are willing to accept the consequences), the VSV is no longer needed. You...
^^^ That's the BVSV ;)
The forward VSV controls the hot fuel pressure up function...the aft controls the EGR. You need both. Please don't go off on a "clean up the engine bay" crusade...guys start yanking stuff off they don't understand and the next thing you know us "old heads" have to...
