I have a 140 amp alternator, and haven't seen any difference over the stock unit.
Alot of the time, the amp rating these guys talk about is at a certain temp and a certain rpm,
and it can be misleading.
When you say timing is checked, you mean you've verified the CPS tooth position?
Because it's sounds an AWFUL lot like your cps is retarded by one tooth.
I say get an aluminum radiator that accepts the OEM fan shroud. It will solve any cooling issues you may have.
If for some reason you're not satisfied, Then go with electric fans and all the wiring, sensors and relays.
: )
Lol. 'IIRC' is not an abbreviation for a cooling system part- It means "if I recall correctly"- as in, If I recall correctly, the AC fans come on at 210+.
Problem is- I'm not sure if I am recalling correctly. And as JetJock is pointing out- IF you have a good fanclutch, and IF your MHG is...
The bucket itself might be causing the lockup- have you tried checking the freeplay with the shim bucket on??
Oops- i take it back- looks like one pic shows how the valve is depressed without the bucket.
It's really simple.
As Shaeff said- You strip the new shielded wire till you have access to the core wire, and splice that into the wires coming off the two OX wires out of your ecu, solder and heatshrink wrap it. Leave a bit of length to the shielding wire, twist it into a lead, and solder a...
Get a controller. The condenser fans(IIRC) don't come on unless you exceed 210 degrees, or if you have ac on.
Or- if you want more reliable cooling, get a stock fan and clutch.
email the pic to these guys and they'll make it for you. The place is in your town, and they specialize in vehicle graphics.

If your plans are <300hp, get stock.
If you want a little more room for growth, get Probe's. They're the lowest price forged pistons(that I know of).
If you plan for more hp, do as stated in the above posts.
Only my opinion.
I used to have flex-a-lite 210's in the car, and I'm so glad I went back to stock.
Did the FAL's cool well? Very. Problem was- the relay died a number of times, and I would begin to overheat.
So I made my own set of relays, hooked to a temp switch. Problem solved. Except that where I had the...
I think these look good, at least for the low price.
Sportmax 962 17x9, +35 offest.
Just one idea. You can prolly fit any wheel you want(for those 275's), provided it has the right offset
