Make sure your plugs are gapped correctly. I had a similar issue after replacing my y-pipe (oh how fun that was...), gapped the plugs to something like ~.28 or .028 (I forget exactly), and the problem went away. You shouldn't be hitting fuel cut until after 16psi on a 1j.

If you can get a GSD3 in a size you want I can vouch for them as well. I had a set on the Miata I had, and if they made them big enough for what I have in mind I'd be happy to purchase another set for the Supra. Long lived, great tracking, and hold the road very nicely. Aren't you going a bit past the efficiency range with that high of pressure on those little turbos? I figure you're just blowing in hot air after 16-17 psi... unless you've upgraded somehow?

What about when you're already moving? Not shifting into reverse when moving, but into the next gear... I've had infrequent issues with my car going from 1-2 on hard acceleration. Usually only happens if I'm near redline.
