It does fail safe to hot (80 C), as it should. After all hot is the normal operating condition. Furthermore, this occurs with either an open or shorted sensor.

What's with all the caps? 1) With the coolant sensor disconnected the computer will think the coolant is hot. 2) Wire colors for the sensor are easily found by looking in the TEWD. 3) The cold start injector can't operate unless the engine is cranking.

One of us is confused. No spark = no IGf, not the other way 'round. IGf causes no injection. In other words IGf has nothing to do with making spark but not having spark has everything to do with IGf...

Not exactly true. The ECU doesn't pick up the pump speed relay until after start. Since he also claims no spark the point is moot though...

If you have no spark why are you messing around with IGf?

Why not just troubleshoot it correctly using the TEWD?
