Wouldn't matter anyway because the BVSV isn't electrical.
The blue connector is for the condenser fan thermo switch. The other is for the AC coolant temp cut out...
It's in the electrical section:

You be welcome...
Apples to oranges. One is analog while the other is digital. You're almost surely barking up the wrong tree, Not that it can't fail but you sure aren't going to find out using an ohmmeter.
Yeah, go figure. But since the fuel system is sealed where did the fuel evaporate to? Bear with me. Not being the genius hvyman is I often need explanations....
Whaaat? I missed that. Me also being somewhat of a machinist (I own a lathe and mill, they live not far from the welder) I would like to hear more. Then again maybe not.
Meh, I say let the guy be. If he wants to mess around with balloons and rainbows more power to him. Besides, he seems to be...
Smoke machine is used for evap and other tests to find leaks in all kinds of systems. Google it. Not cheap but can be homemade with a little effort. It *is* one of the greatest tool ever made. The only way someone will get mine is when they pry it from my cold dead hands...
^ Tis true ;)
I'm gonna give up on this guy. I think the problem is my definition of tig welding, having done it for nearly 20 years mostly on stainless and aluminum, is different from his.
I was just amused by someone who has never done arc welding of any kind, who clearly know little...
Crack me up. I'm not saying you didn't do it. What I was referring to was none of it is welding. All we've seen so far is a couple of horrific butts (why would anyone even post those?) that are the result of either bad gear/parameters or someone who can't manipulate a tig torch. Since you claim...
Thermal Arc 300GTSW with external pulse and sloping. Not the latest and greatest but does a fine job. I'm pointing this out only to show mine is bigger than yours :)
OP: You'll have to get up early than that to fool some of us...
Not lost but there's good reasons they've been forgotten. You're going to find out why.
ae86: That's the updated version of Miller's Econo-Tig. Being inverter based it weighs a lot less than the older model. Although I've never used one it looks like a good no frills machine. No wave...
I find it very odd someone whose done research for years would come up with some of what he says but he's correct the original Heliarc process was DC and used He as a shielding gas. I'm not saying it can't be done but rather than explain all that sucks about I'll settle for him showing us when...
You guys are basicaly right. When using AC on aluminum the positive portion of the waveform provides ion bombarment for removing the surface oxide, equivelent to DCEP. The negative portion provides penetration from electron flow and is equivalent to DCEN.
Adjusting the duty cycle (wave...
