As it's been said... elevation. KILLS NA cars. My Mk2 with the 6m was an absolute blast down closer to sea level, up here in the mountains, the thing is blech for power. :nono:
Eh, my car feels the same once the boost comes on, but down in Vegas I hit fuel cut WAY too easily, where as up here...
Honda and RWD are a good combo... I'd love an S2000, but I refuse to pay that much when I can build a Miata for 2/3 of the cost that will blow the doors off the S2000 in stock form. Hell, for an AP2 S2000, you're getting into the territory where a cammed LS3 Miata would be priced.
This thread reminds me... I should probably change mine soon. Been about 9 months now. HOWEVER... I drive an average of about 50-60 miles a week. Maybe on a busy week, 100 miles. Figure a max of 6000 miles in a year. Is this sort of cycle any worse off than driving the typical 'average' of...
Manga is still going, yes. Well over 600 chapters now...
No idea, they have enough material they could make another 30-40 episodes at the rate the manga goes...
Indeed sir. Couldn't think of a better random comment than some of his, so I borrowed it. Don't think he'll mind, sadly. :p
Same here. It goes into the postal box today. Actually brought my girlfriend to tears reading it, and she helped me come up with a couple of the comments. Apparently she...
...and just like that the car is behaving like normal, boosting hard as it used to. I swear this car has WAY too much personality for it's own good. :p
You'd be surprised how much stuff you can haul in a small car like a Miata. I had over $300 worth of groceries in mine once... And honestly, I think it comes down to this: how much gas can you buy for $xxxx that you were planning on spending on a newer car? That argument has ALWAYS won out in my...
Dammit Ian, you beat me to it...
I always thought of it as a cheap G-meter. If it comes on, you're approaching your tire's limits. Adjust fluid level to according to tire grip capacity. :D
I've got a pair of impact guns, they are attached to the hands that are typing this right now.
That said, about the only thing I can see even needing anything more than a 1/2" ratchet on is the crank pulley on a JZ... not sure what the 7m crank bolt is torqued to, but the JZ one is on...
Grim, do they do curb weights differently in Canada? I was under the impression that curb weight was as driven, with full fluids. I believe our cars have a 750lb cargo/passenger capacity, and if I remember correctly, the door sticker says something along the lines of 4450lbs. Take out 750lbs...
No worries, T9 has been a great source of drunken fun over the years, waking up, reading your phone, and asking yourself, "what the hell was I trying to say last night?". :)
Ever seen an open block being spun, without the head on it? Kinda neat, you can't even touch the cylinder walls at those speeds, it's as if it were a solid surface. ;)
Thought you guys might appreciate this...
This is all public information, why they feel the need to have me fill out this survey, I don't know. I decided to have a bit of fun with it. :icon_bigg
Edit: If anyone needs me to clarify or can't read any lines, let me know. Stupid government...
I have used Supras for DD for years now. They're nice if you can afford the gas and happen to be able to fix it in a pinch (things do go wrong occasionally). Ex girlfriend had an MX3, was a nice car for cruising around in. I kinda had the best of both worlds back then, I had both a Mk3 Supra...
I'm sure you're already aware that your benchmark for the budget BBK is the ARZ setup, so I might as well ask, how would it compare?
That said, good pricing point, but you've got your work cut out for you. :)
I still play it on occasion. G27/Playseat setup + bottle of Kraken and friends = good time had by all haha...
Not on PSN at the moment though due to a lack of internet.
As for the Supras, I have both the 7m and 1j. 7m is stock at the moment, 1j is setup pretty much just like my real car. :)
