    Epic Commercial

You always did have a bad habit of missing the stickied threads Albert... http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?128082-Random-YouTube-Videos-Round-2 ;)

    Floor epoxy (garage use)?

I agree, but is there a substance of this nature for this use that can withstand that kind of temperature shock?

    Cup Holders

I found out the hard way that bigger cups are a BAD idea for cup holders that only hold ~3" of the bottom of the cup... that's when I switched to bottles. Takumi Fujiwara, I am not, I don't have the smoothness required to keep potential spills from happening...

Futurama, making my day better since 1999. :)

    weekly car debate thread.

You've got a point about the Viper being more exclusive, but like women, we all have different taste in looks with cars. I for one, never really get tired of seeing Vettes. Well, I get tired of seeing them being driven like old people who can't see past he headlights, but that's hardly the car's...

1961 Chevy Impala Restoration - WOW

My brother has a couple 64 4 door Impalas... that's probably HOW he learned to weld. No matter how fast, sleek, menacing, capable, etc... that my car looks/is, his will ALWAYS be 'cooler' than mine. :)

    High boost break up

Yeah no kidding... I think once we get everything sorted on mine, we'll just find the RPM where the power stops building, and set the limit around there. Racer, I just gotta say, you suck. I can only net something like 150 in 4th, and I'm on taller tires and 3.73 gears...

    1jzgte speed cut

Hmm, this thread makes me wonder. Is it something in the wiring harness, or the ECU itself? I know for a fact mine is only limited by it's power to overcome the wind...

A couple of 1jz running issues, high rpm break up, miss at idle, and much more

That's about all I can add to this discussion, that heat shield is a royal pain in the arse. Oh, and it never hurts to wiggle things around, make sure EVERYTHING that is related to your electrical system is snug and connected. Only takes one loose wire...

Relocate coolant res near brake master?

That was an option I forgot to suggest, just make sure you do the relocation properly! Should be a good place for a water/meth tank too...

    Motor questions for drifting

In my experience with this sort of thing, it's all about response. What's the best way of getting quick response? High compression natural aspiration. Only way to make enough power to do well with a car as heavy as ours is displacement... that said, v8 would be the way to go, Chevy LS series if...

Spartan living, or, "How to budget for a Supra project"

Well said Crisp, and thanks for the bump. I think people would do well to read my original post before deciding to buy a Supra (or most any 'project' car) in the first place, see if they're willing (or able) to sacrifice the money (or the time if they can't toss the money around). To answer...

    Hey, Gaboon?

Grimjack, you make a good point with Madonna and Etta James. But for every one of those, there's 1000 more that are brushed aside... real music holds relevance decades later. :) Nice post Mike, difference between BMW and Toyota though, is that BMW still makes cars that you could DO a video like...

    Floor epoxy (garage use)?

I dunno if it was mentioned in here, but have discussed this with my mom before (the peeing from hot tires). Her solution? Floor mats that you'd usually use *inside* the car. Put one on each corner, no more peeling from hot tires on cold treated floor problem. :)

    High boost break up

You guys are nuts, but that is awesome. Racer, did you get your valves from Ferrea custom made? I remember searching while the porting was being done on my head, and couldn't find anything in the way of oversize 1j valves. Hence, mine still has stock valves. Not that it's a problem, I don't plan...

    Upgrading 1JZ Twins

Everybody sees the light eventually. 20 years ago (10 even, really) twins would have been the only way to go if you wanted quick response out of a turbo engine, but technology has come a good ways since the 90's. :)

Relocate coolant res near brake master?

Won't be any time soon man, still gotta save up the money for the turbo, pull the engine, build the manifold, test fitting, final welding, blah blah blah... all that before even worrying about the intercooler and space issues in the front. Personally if it were me, I'd be looking to see who can...

    FML, as they say

Well now that you've said it, it should never happen, right? Sounds good about the pictures, could be some good ones in there, maybe this shop has a talented photographer... :)

    Hey, Gaboon?

Good Lord... skimming through comments like that makes me realize how rare women like Theresa and my girlfriend are, those who think with their brains rather than that evil piece of meat in your chest that leads to bat-shit-baby-crazy comments being spilled from the mouths of many. All I could...

    weekly car debate thread.

I love the way the original GTS looked. Those cars just screamed speed... however, I've NEVER mistaken a Vette for a Miata in my side mirror before. Happened to me with a Viper once, true story. Was a similar dark green that the first generation Miatas had... felt like a tard once it passed me...
