I'm not willing to part the covers. The 1.5JZ is only temporary. Once I get a manifold, I'm going full 2JZ for a few reasons:
1. I've been told the combustion chamber on the 2JZ is better, allowing you to run a lot more timing then a 1JZ. I've been told this by a tuner who works with both...
Actually, I would still have to worry about the downpipe. The turbo's an inch higher. There's a flex section in it right now, it should give me enough movement to fit.
Call Champion Toyota. They have them. You can get a complete gasket set from them for cheap that has EVERYTHING.

The V-pro is an amazing engine management system, that's for sure. It's expensive, but it's WELL worth it if you have a good tuner. I know a guy who's been tuning Supras with these things since HKS came out with them...

I don't have the pics up yet, as I'm at work, but this evening, I picked up a nice shiny 2JZ-GTE with a complete uncut harness and ECU. It's replacing the 1JZ in my Supra that had an unfortunate thrust washer evacuation. :naughty:

A V160 is useless in a MKIII. You'll never find a rear-end to go with it. Stock rear-end for a V160 is a 3.2. The smallest you'll find...
Best setup? Put an HKS F-Con V-Pro in it, ;)
