    Big Question Need Opinions!

Your plan seems sound for a solid engine, if it is in good condition to start with. ps- Do not compare Supra's to Civics...you'll just make people here mad. :)

    SOS with engine wiring!!

Are you SURE you have the right harness? Also, the motor wouldn't blow it's head gasket in one day, because you torqued to factory spec. You may very well have a bad head surface to begin with. Show us some pics of what harness you're dealing with. Also- What Marietta do you live in- Marietta...

    morganson's COP S-Type setup

What he said. Way nicer with the black plugs. I currently have the IS300 mod, but would be very interested in switching to this simply for the aesthetics, as well as the fact that the coils actually fit snug on your mod. I will be staying tuned into this thread, to see what you guys come up...

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

Did a few things today. After raking the yard, and replacing the fuel lines in my leaf blower, I pulled the car out of the garage, to finish the sound proofing. After removing the oem panels: After installing the GTmat: This stuff is designed with a sandwich of aluminum heat...

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

Got the driver's side floor finished with some new deadener mat, and I'll finish the passenger side tomorrow. Also going to undercoat the car while it's out of the garage. Today I just ordered a few small electrical parts, and tied a couple of grounds together. Amplifier and fuel pump...

    Piston decisions for a 7mgte

I bought Wiseco's, but I really can't say if they're good or bad, as I've never started the engine. I CAN say that they haven't rattled ONE BIT so far... lol.

Feels like I'm missing something here....(turbo timer and e-break)

That broken wire is why. The switch will be just a white plastic plunger, and the wire connects to the bottom. And i can pretty much gaurantee you that if you pull that black(green i guess)wire over to the ebrake handle, it will touch the switch. It cant be any farther away than that, right? Lol.

chasing intermittent signal to ecu (code 11)

I believe the connector hanging off the ecu only has turbo indicator, defog, and headlight relay wires.

Feels like I'm missing something here....(turbo timer and e-break)

Um. That switch is right there in your second pic. The one with the black wire going towards it, but it's ripped off? That one. Edit- oops, the switch isnt in view, but it does look like the wire is disconnected. Do you get a brake light on when you pull up the Ebrake?

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

Just bought 25sq. Ft. Of GTmat quadro sound deadening material. I've decided to remove the rest of the oem floor material, so i can verify that there's no corrosion under there. Also, there should be enough to apply to the hatch floor area as well.

Rear window viser wing. Where to get it

Lol yeah. I bought a jdm front lip from that guy for a good price, and he emails me, asking if i also want the rear sunshade. I said, well how much? He says since he could ship them together, he'd give me a special price: $675! I laughed out loud when i read that, emailed him back, sayin um...NO...

Aerosol like spray from backside of engine when I rev the engine...

I would guess the small 90 degree coolant elbow on the back of the head, on the passenger side. Course, it could also be the heater core hoses, either the one coming out of the top of the head, or the one on the drivers side.

The age old problem: too much noise/vibration

I actually thought that the oem deadening material looked quite impressive- 3-layer, asphalt/jute/ashphalt...considering it was made in the 80's... I will be replacing mine, but only because i had to fix some metal underneath.

I've had to stop myself a few times from looking at other projects. If I get one, I will NEVER finish the Supra.

Hi everyone need help solving another mystery on fuel needle.

I don't believe you can access the sender through the trunk. You can only access the two harness plugs(pump and sender)through that panel. Once that's done, you can remove the tank. Other things that need to be disconnected: Fuel vent line Fuel return line Fuel feed line, either at- the...
