Not too sure about the guy that authored that thread...he does crazy things like run a 0W-30 oil in a 7M ;) You really can't use the NA stud on a turbo motor...the IC pipes are in the way to accommodate a filter.

The CST has nothing to do with a code 22.

Did you replace the intake manifold gasket...there is a seal on it for the coolant fitting leading to the ISCV/TB between the lower intake and the head. It's right in the area you show.

The motor will run just fine without the O2...gas mileage and emissions on the other hand...

You would need to drill the water pump to clear the new bolt. Drill size for a M8x1.25 tap is 6.8mm (9/32" will work).

Don't like them on a 7M...the Toyota plugs are steel and seal with a press fit. They have to be tight. I've seen way too many plugs blow due to improper installation and they were all aftermarket plugs.

You're welcome. One more thing, if you replace the freeze plugs on the block use Toyota OEM. Aftermarket (like Dorman) have a tendency to blow.
