And before anyone says anything about their turbos, I have never heard of more than 1 of his turbos dieing, and IIRC that guy failed to prime it correctly.

Did you try to pull the trans out of the top, or through the bottom? Besides, it is nice to be able to see all of the bolts, unlike the MKIII.

Is your 1jz harness auto or 5 speed? IIRC, the jza70 auto used an a341e. BTW, what turbo setup are you going to run?

You can try another transmission just swap the bellhousings. I know of one that is mint, doesn't grind and always goes into gear. PM me for more info.

I have pulled a FWD DSM tranny, it is not that bad. 150lb wet at the most. Simple as cake. We had a motor and tranny out in like 4-5 hours (fucking autronic ecu and custom harness fucked us up, and we pulled them seperately). It is by far easier to drop the transmission than it is to lift it.

Junior can tune whatever you bring him, he does a fair amount of 2jzs, including his personal one, and a couple of cars in mags.

Young kids CAN'T drive, you just think you can and get lucky. You have had your liscence for what, 1 year or less? I have had mine for 5 years, almost to date and I believe that I need to learn more about driving in certain situations that I do not experiance often or at all.
