    CajunKenny's Build Thread

If you want to hide it somewhere hard to see, I would suggest doing a fluid level tube, similar to what those Ebay catch cans do- simple and easy to install, you can do a similar thing for a filler neck, hidden away/possible curl it up and tuck away until you need to refill?. exampla...

    EFI Fuse repeatedly blowing....HELP !!

I have seen many wire harnesses pinched at intake manifolds- I would check around the upper and lower intake manifolds since many of the things in that area are powered by the EFI circuit.

The funny thing is that no amount of pictures will do that paint justice. Everyone will always think "Homo blue":nono: To think of the wonders they're missing is tragic

    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

Well, he was at 550 last year, and hoping for more this year D: He's likely to copy me with a Spec super twin or be a total baller with a tilton or OS Giken T_T

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

Yeah, so the bolts for the arms are on order, I'll get to that eventually. I think more fuel is a good idea first, however :) Turbo: installed! Alignment: Done! Coolant reservoir is one of the last things I need to do before getting this thing onto the road to get back into good tune!

Spring MN Supra meet! Saturday April 16th

No, Rob has yet to choose how he will do his engine management. Jeremy- I know you're not dumb, but even the smartest people have been known to do some stupid things when they get that adrenaline rush associated with new parts! That said- awesome find with the techtom ecu!

Spring MN Supra meet! Saturday April 16th

Unless you have a wideband and some sort of tuning device (piggyback/afpr/etc) for that lex/550/walbro combo I'd suggest against it, Jeremy. I don't want to hear about burned engines and whatnought! Rob is the world's biggest exception when it comes to doing something the "Right" way...

Best tune for 650 hp.. MANAGEMENT ??

^ This. If your tuner likes one ECU over another, give it to him. If they're familiar with a particular unit, they usually can get the job done better for you.

    Floor epoxy (garage use)?

I would also say to add some fine sand to the epoxy for traction- too many guys I've worked with have slipped and fallen on smooth epoxy floors after a coolant spill. :(

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

i could (and will eventually), but I'm really quite tired of the cutting in small spaces thing so I'll leave it be until I feel like installing the last bushings.

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

Yeah, about that- the bolt are seized into the bushings. I don't have new bolts and I don't wanna deal with cutting more bushings for a long, long time.
