Fix it for sure. Easy mode would be a new shaft/turbine wheel, I'd throw the bigger hotside (.80+) in for keeping the EGT's down- looks like it got really hot (might be the angles too)
Edit: even though the midrange will suffer, your top end will be un-corked :D
I'd check the power steering lines that run under the engine just to make sure they didn't get squished during the install.
Aside from guessing, the only test that could really help requires tools most people don't have (PS pressure test, uses a 2000psi gauge) And even then it won't say 100%...
Its so funny you say that, Dan! I was just at SS talking with Greg and we came to the same conclusion! Greg is looking into what it would take to re-tool for it, but to be honest that would cost a hell of a lot imo.

Using a Turbo PS reservoir or an NA one?
I had a similar problem with my original Turbo reservoir screen being plugged. Swapped to an NA unit and noise was gone! I still replaced the pump cause it was leaking, but the noise was the pump not drawing fluid though!
