    I originally bought these for the 7M - but i was misdirected - the Zetec-E is 27.5mm not 25mm shims, i *think* i need the Zetec-SE shims, which would make more sense, as its a Yamaha designed engine, and 25mm shims are prolific on Yamaha bikes - i'll check that for definite though.

    I can now confirm that Ford Zetec-E valve shims are 27.5mm in diameter, the same as stock 2JZ shims. Only the solid lifter variant uses shims. They cost considerably less, too. Zetec-E engines were found in European Market Ford Mondeo's, and possibly US Market Ford Contours (rebadged Mondeo)...

    On the stock system, even with piggybacks, you should never use anything but a reirculating BOV.

    Unfortunately, yes, there's about $20 worth of clips and $10 worth of terminals and wire there - the rest is pure profit for them. If we could find the denso connector they use however, you could knock them out way cheaper.

    There is indeed a BOV fitted as standard. Follow the vacuum line on the left hand side of the 3000 pipe and you'll see it, plugged into the Accordion hose.     Wastegate was fine when i put it on, its on an adjustable actuator, set for 10psi. The TSRM's 'TC' section shows the elbow, but no torque settings for the nuts - is there a recommended setting? Also - the turbo to manifold specifies 34lb/ft for the nuts but there's no way to get a torque...
