this is my Thinkink about it thread:icon_conf
 well.... it might be coming to the end of my white supra, i have worked on it and loved it for 2 and a half years now. but am struggling to maintain it through school. i would prolly be looking for $9K - $10K, at least Twice much that has...
sorry, that comment was not directed at you in anyway....just one of my rants, but you would know if there was a leak immedietly when you started your car, its not that big of deal.
and jimi... your manifold is damn sexy!:icon_bigg
:icon_bigg as i suspected.... that is why you have the ability to idle at 650 and i dont, i ran a mega squirt last year and it was total shit so i have been running the map ecu lately which also does not hold its rep, but come summer an AEM is definetely in order.
i do need to see this 9...
i am running 550's currently, it is not the fuel that is restricting my idle it is my lack of an isc, all other cars i have seen without an isc on an ffim have been the same way. the car barely runs under 1000 rpm and if you turn the idle screw all the way down it will bog for a minute and...
you will need to tig... and there is NO way to keep the aluminum from warping but you are mostly concerned about the flange which is why you need it bolted down while welding.... i got the aluminum at a local metals store its easy to find, you just need all the proper tools, saws, sanders...
wow.... lotsa ffim talk lately, you have 1 spare? heheh if your doing it yourself you will need 2 or 3 trust me:biglaugh: i practiced tig on aluminum for days strait and still messed up quite badly, but if your up to the challenge go for it. its worth it in the end, i am very proud of...
yes it can idle lower but 1000 is what it prefers in the summer and 1200 in the winter, as i stated i have no isc. and 1000 rpm's IS great i have no problems and when i hit the gas i have imediate power, no throttle lag, btw i am Manual
you dont need either... i am running map ecu, with no isc, no dashpot, no cold start injector, just manifold. runs great just idles an 1200, i also ran the same on a lex afm and safc, same situation.
yeah it can mess up your o2 sensor if your car is not at normal operating temp. but its mostly caution for OBD2 cars. if you have cats it can gum them up
