it will last as long as you can maintain it, i am running 500whp almost daily and my built engine is now at about 6,000 miles and running just as strong as ever. if it stays maintained which it will i expect at minimum 2 or 3 more years out of it, probably changing turbos, fuel and other things...

btw you retorque because after you have torqued one side of the wheel and move to the other side the force evens out and sometimes the first few torqued are actually less than the click. and besides its better to take the extra minute double checking than have even a slight chance of that wheel...

im sorry where you there when tony made 822 rwhp on a 7m using a ffim, also check out the 7m drag rail, they use one as well. now for my opinion being on my 3rd mkIII and my 2nd ffim. i can tell you it is immensly worth it, while 500 hp is easily attainable on a stock mani, it is even easier...
