    Another spring thread...mainly about Intrax.

    Just in case I was misunderstood I think there's too large a difference between F&R rates and this will unbalance the car for fast cornering.

    Dan: 5psi spring in the gate supply 5 psi to the 2nd port through a boost controller = 10 psi. Doing it this way means you can run a nice light spring and the exhaust pressure won't blow the valve off the seat.

    If it's just a stopgap grab the head clean it well fit a composite gasket and go for it as is. ;) And keep the boost low of course.

    Pete: yep most shops should be able to test it if not find a better shop. I mean even basics like having a head surfaced is waste money if it's soft.

    #1 Should be have the replacement head hardness tested BEFORE spending a cent on it. I can't stress this highly enough guys it's very important.

    The Permacool type adaptors fit no mods. LOL it's a 1 off custom piece ;)

    The problem with that approach is it leaves too much to human error. Doesn't take much of an overheat to anneal a 7M head then it's junk.

    Using an SSAC 321 header with my T04z and an IJ built riser for clearence. Canton Filter relocation block had to be clearenced so it would fit.

    More important is to have the head checked for hardness before spending a single cent on it if it's soft it's junk.

    <fingers crossed> The new Turbo hits much softer than the old one so that along with the DBW Trac it "should" be fine..... ;)

    Check the valve clearences if it's a bent valve you'll have a huge gap between the cam and the shim.
